Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Public Health

NEW! From January, 1st, 2017, the journal will charge accepted manuscript with Article Publishing Charges (APCs) of 244.00 Euro.

Epidemiology Biostatistics and Public Health (ebph) is a quarterly, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that aims to be a support for the International scientific community in its efforts to reduce the negative impact on public health of the current economic situation, and most specifically to provide scientific evidence to serve as a basis for the difficult economic and financial choices now required in any Public Health policy. All articles published by ebph are made freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication, without subscription charges or registration barriers.

Epidemiology Biostatistics and Public Health is indexed in Directory of Open Access Journal (DOAJ), Scopus, Google Scholar and it is also present in NLM catalog with selected citations only.

Starting from Volume 12, 2015, ebph has been included in Thompson Reuter Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI). This is a new edition in Web of Science Core Collection, which will allow users to track citation activity. ESCI is a true citation index, but Thompson Reuters will not publish an official Impact Factor for publications covered in ESCI. Journals included in ESCI will be evaluated later for inclusion in the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE). We thank our authors, reviewers, Founding Editors and Editorial Board for this achievement, and stress the importance of further concentrating on our key target, i.e. inclusion in the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE).

In 2015 ebph website received 56.131 visits and 12.376 users and the articles published were downloaded 44.194 times.
